EveryMatrix on track to complete acquisition of Fantasma Games

EveryMatrix recently announced that it has successfully completed its public cash offer to acquire Fantasma Games, with an impressive 95.19% of shareholders accepting the deal. This acquisition represents a significant milestone for EveryMatrix as it aims to expand and improve its gaming portfolio.

The acquisition process began on September 18, 2024, when EveryMatrix proposed to buy all shares of Fantasma Games AB for SEK 59 (€5.21) per share. This resulted in a total cash consideration of SEK 209.8 million (€18.5 million). The acceptance period opened on September 19 and closed on October 10, 2024. During this time, EveryMatrix required at least 90% shareholder approval, which was not only achieved but surpassed.

With this acquisition, EveryMatrix strengthens its status as the largest games aggregator globally through its SlotMatrix platform. This platform boasts over 29,000 games from over 350 third-party studios, along with in-house productions from Armadillo Studios. Additionally, integrating Fantasma Games will enrich EveryMatrix’s offerings with a selection of popular slot titles that are already integrated with over 250 operators, including major names like DraftKings, Betsson, Paddy Power, BetMGM, and LeoVegas. As a result, millions of players across 50 countries enjoy these titles.

EveryMatrix expanding market reach and growth potential

This strategic acquisition will further enhance EveryMatrix’s market presence, especially in booming regions such as North America. The company has established relationships with many tier-1 operators across all licensed iGaming states, which reinforce its plans for future growth. EveryMatrix aims to invest in high-quality content that appeals to next-generation players, boosting direct contracts and integrations in this key profit centre.

Ebbe Groes, Group CEO and Co-Founder of EveryMatrix, is delighted to finalise the deal. He stated, “It is another M&A deal fully funded from our own cash flow and made possible due to our rapid organic growth. We see big synergies and opportunities.”

Groes also praised the quality of Fantasma’s offerings: “Fantasma’s games are recognised by the world’s largest operators and their players as among the very best both in terms of performance and experience. Its games production output is seriously impressive, as is their management and staff who have created a business that consistently generates remarkable financial results.”

Anticipating new collaborative opportunities

Fredrik Johansson, CEO and founder of Fantasma Games, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “I’m incredibly proud of the fantastic journey we have undertaken so far with Fantasma Games. Now, as we approach the next major phase in our growth, I’m confident that EveryMatrix is the perfect partner to help us realise our long-term vision.”

Additionally, Johansson highlighted the shared passion for innovation between the two companies: “Through this partnership, we see tremendous potential, not only to enhance the quality of our existing games but also to develop new and groundbreaking game concepts that can set future standards.

We look forward to building a long-term and successful collaboration where we can jointly continue to drive development forward and create added value for both players and our partners.”

The completion of this acquisition marks an exciting new phase for EveryMatrix as it continues to grow and solidify its presence in the gaming sector. Founded in 2010, the company offers a wide range of services, including a powerful game aggregation platform, payment processing, and sports betting solutions. As the integration begins, the gaming community can expect innovative developments in game design and player engagement.
