Meridianbet lands record-breaking sponsorship deal with FC AEL Limassol?

Meridianbet, a leading global sports betting company established 30 years ago, has secured the largest sports sponsorship deal in the history of Cyprus with FC AEL Limassol.

The agreement involves prominently featuring Meridianbet’s logo on the front of the team’s new kit. Star players Vasilis Papafotis (pictured on the left) and Rafail Mamas (pictured on the right) proudly wore the newly designed uniforms, marking the beginning of an exciting era in the club’s history.

Theodora Petrou, Head of Online Operations at Meridianbet Cyprus, announced plans for various community-focused programmes and charitable events. She promises AEL fans an exciting lineup of activities, emphasising the company’s commitment to contributing to both society and sports. The collaboration aims to bring unprecedented excitement to AEL’s dedicated fan base.

As a result of this major partnership, the company anticipates a substantial increase in online sports betting activity in the Cypriot market, further solidifying Meridianbet’s expanding presence in the region.

Chrysothemi Valanidou, CEO of Meridianbet Cyprus, emphasised the importance of shared values and ambitions as the driving force behind the collaboration.
