The Complete Guide to the Festival Series””

The Festival Series is a combination of competitive poker, casino games & sports betting under one roof and its first destination is Tallinn in June 2021

Big news coming from Tallinn in 2021 as Acroud and Martin ‘Franke’ von Zweigbergk (pictured), founder of 24h Production, have teamed up to create a unique and innovative event called The Festival Series.

The competitive gaming norm

There have been plenty of tournaments focusing on competitive poker or tournaments focused on just casino games, but no one has yet fused those games into a week-long Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Sports Betting Festival. The Festival Series is aiming to change that.

Enter The Festival Series

The Festival Series is a bold proposition and will introduce a 7-day poker event combined with Roulette and Blackjack tournaments as well as competitive Sports Betting all under one roof.

The Festival Series aims to attract seasoned poker players, enthusiastic amateurs, punters, and recreational players at the same time and will have multiple stops in Europe.

The first event will take place in Tallinn in June 2021. This event will introduce competitive Roulette and Blackjack tournaments into the fold and the second event in Bratislava will see competitive sports betting enter the scene.

The event will be held in the Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn and span over seven days filled with a fun and easy-going atmosphere. The players are not only there to win money, but also to re-connect with old friends, enjoy parties, and partake in any of the many planned side activities.

The buy-ins range from €55 up to €2.000. The poker main event buy-in will be €550 and the Roulette and Blackjack tournaments will have a buy-in of €250 each. Those buy-in ranges aim to attract a considerable number of recreational players.

The event is proving extremely popular with 10 partners and 250 packages already booked in just the first 14 days, with the organizers still finalizing deals with many more partners. Those are serious numbers given the short time frame and the current COVID situation.

COVID Contingency plan

Planning for The Festival in Tallinn in June is full steam ahead, but of course there is some uncertainty regarding travel restrictions and health measures due to COVID.

If the event in Tallinn can not be held in June, the first stop of the Festival Series will be in September in Bratislava while the Tallinn stop will be postponed one year.

The event will adhere to all regulations and safety protocols as the players safety and health is at the heart of the organizers. The Olympic Casino in Tallinn has already proven last year that it can uphold safety measures and provide Casino and Poker games in a save environment. It is to be expected that the same will be true this year.

Now, it’s time to get to know the organizers of this unique one-of-a-kind event.

  • Martin ‘Franke’ von Zweigbergk

Martin von Zweigbergk only goes by the name “Franke” and is best described in four words: Lively. Energetic. Enthusiastic. Spirited.

Franke is the owner of 24h Production and the brains behind The Festival Series. 24h Production is a video production company with worldwide experience in poker-related projects.

Since the age of sixteen Franke has been organizing events around the globe. Be it a travel event, poker tournament or a full-on party, he was the guy to organize that event.

Franke is also the founder and brains behind the well-known Cash Game Festival, a pure poker series across Europe, launched in 2014. He always wanted to expand his event reach to Sports Betting, Roulette and Blackjack audiences. Thus, the idea of The Festival Series was born.

We believe that The Festival Series can be a game changer in the casino event industry. Affordable casino events have already proven to be vastly popular in the past.

An event series that successfully combines Poker, Casino Games and Sports Betting has the potential to attract thousands of players each stop.

The synergies between those games are enormous and it was about time that someone came along and merged those games into one outstanding event series. And it looks like The Festival Series is going to do just that.
